Congratulations to Jean Baptiste Apuatimi

Jean Baptiste Apuatimi from Tiwi Design Art Centre has been selected as one of the sixteen finalists for the inaugural Western Australian Indigenous Art Awards 2008 at the Art Gallery of Western Australia. This award has recently been established to showcase and celebrate the diversity of Indigenous art from across the nation.

We wish Jean the best of luck and congratulate her on this mammoth achievement.

The Western Australian Indigenous Art Awards will be on display from the 1 November 2008 - 11 January 2009 at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Perth Cultural Centre.
