British Museum collects Jean Baptiste Apuatimi work

Jean Baptiste Apuatimi recently traveled to London to attend the opening of her first solo international exhibition at Rebecca Hossack Gallery in London. Jean had a fabulous time at the opening, performing traditional Tiwi dance to an enthrawled crowd.
The British Museum collected one of Jean’s ochre on paper works, Tumulangini. Both Jean and Tiwi Design Art Centre Manager Tim Hill were pleased with the success of the show.
